Hi Michel

Some of our clients are experiencing the same problem.

We use 3rd party scanning components and it seems after many scans we get this CreateDibSection failed message. I have been unable to reproduce the error in my programming enviroment. Typical scans are 24bit 8.5 x 11 @ 100 dpi.

Our scanning and display program is part of a very large Delphi Database Project. The following procedure is used to scan, view and save.

1: Scan/Viewer program created with main application.
2: Filename provided by main application.
3: Scan/Viewer show.
4: Scan image or images.
5: Save images as multi page Tiff
6: Scan/Viewer hide.
7: Restart at 2.

After repeating the above for many times we get the error which requires restarting the main application.

I attempt to create any graphic objects as needed and free these objects at hide time. I have tried MemProof and the only problem I see is possibly with some pointers being created and not released, memory seems fine.

One time on Win2000 someone got Virtual Memory Low etc.
