Subject: Jpeg compression

Hello:
I would like to know if with Envision Image library I can capture with a Digital Camera (using USB or Serial) a person's image (face mainly for ID cards)? What Digital Cameras do you recommend? Finally we would like to have these images compressed to around 20K, is this possible (probably use a compression / decompression algorithm)?
