Subject: JPEG Quality TiffImage

Scanning and saving a document as 24bit color bmp file
Test.bmp 2,466Kb

Saving JPG at 75%
Test.jpg 116Kb

Saving TIFF w jpeg
Test.tif 340Kb

There appears to be no easy way to set JPEG Quality
for Tiff images. Your C file appears to default to
75% and if so why the large difference in files, I
assume some overhead for TIFF.
Both images appear about the same quality, but thats
just a quess.

Also I cannot get Kodak Imaging ( inc with Win98 ) or
Corel 7 to recognize this compression. It's not
necessary but it would be nice.
