Subject: TIFF file aspect ratio

Michael or anybody else,

I'm using Envision to read TIFF's which we receive from the JFAX fax service (www.j2.com).

TImageScrollBox reads the files ok, but it squashes the fax vertically - the height is only about half of what it should be. Same thing happens in the Envision demo.

When I print these (using the demo or within my application), the aspect ratio is correct.

An example fax which displays this behaviour is here: http://www.speakeasy.com.au/fax/MULTIPAGE_FAX.tif

JFAX has a TIFF viewer utility here: which displays the TIFF's with the correct aspect ratio.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Adam Surplice
