The problem I am having with pink Tiffs happens every time
I repeat the save procedure in my software. The exact
amount of pink may vary. This does not appear?? to happen
with your Example Program.

Dib.PaletteHandle,

Palette.palPalEntry );

On entry Palette is full of junk data
Dib Palette shows valid Gray Scale Data

On exit Palette contains a copy of the Dib Palette
except some not all peGreen values are zero, other values appear okay.

Since GetPaletteEntries is a Windows Function it should be bug free.
I assume some memory is not locked or initialized.

The reason I can't save with JPEG compression is because it is ifColor256, we have the full working version.
