As per afl.com.au

Jamarra Ugle-Hagen has been granted further leave away from the club as he continues to deal with personal issues.

How long until this situation becomes untenable?

Assuming being under contract the Bulldogs are caught in a catch 22.

Pretty certain there is nowhere in his contract that would enable the Bulldogs to release him unless he was found to be in breach.

Of course the article states that the Bulldogs will continue to support him throughout these on going issues. I mean what else could they say.

They also can't publicly criticise his social media exploits for "fear of" contributing to his ongoing mental health battles.

He's still contracted to the end of 2026.

Somehow I think the AFL will have to intervene and play a role here somewhere as they sure won't want him on the books if they get get a commitment out of him.

Clogging up a list space.
Commands a high salary.
Can't be good for the playing group although u wouldn't know it the way they r playing.

Interesting times ahead....
