Very much ditto. And, sadly, going by the (non)activity of the board, even allowing for off-season, it seems much the same here.

I've been going through my old vhs tapes from when I first bought a video recorder (1983, you're right TT, I am old) for $700- when I was 18. Of course, I bought it in October so missed recording games for that year but got everything going in 84 and onwards....

Anyways, just watching those matches again and the feeling of tribalism kicks back in. It's just not there to anywhere near the same degree anymore. And given most of my mates are fellow Hawk supporters, I don't even get to sit back and watch a neutral game to often either.

But the thing is, I am still hanging out for the start of next season already. Bugger the Ashes, when someeone like Warner can dominate you know the standard of International cricket is rooted. As for the summer of tennis... yyeecchh..

So roll on footy, even if to these over indulged eyes that have feasted on TEN live Premierships, I still miss the bloody game.
