Another kid lost to athletics. I find the less popular the sport the more officious they are. Tennis, athletics run by the same people for the last 100 years, because they piss off the next wave of volunteers, like yourself, they end up holding the can forever due to their own stupidity.

FYI - the guy who followed the umpire into the rooms won't be attending junior footy for a few years, the league at least act on these things.

What annoys the kids most is the zoning (like everyone said they know the score anyway) but it gives those kids who only geta touch every second week a bit more of a go, but coaches will find a way around it (fill the midfield with the best players).
