Just the song and dance sh!t about first female president, and similar "look at me!" crap we got all summer.
I reckon Brendan Gale got all caught up in the ain't-we-so-progressive crap, he took his eye off the football department which lost two senior assistant coaches. Meanwhile the coach was experimenting with a new game plan (which is fine, it is part of his job) but I suspect with inadequate supervision.
I wouldn't read much into spanking GWS except I was most gratified to see Richmond take the game on with fast movement of the ball through the middle of the ground instead of slow and steady kicks to position.
To paraphrase a certain oft-quoted full forward, we played like Geelong, not Hawthorn.
