Subject: Just want to let you know

Next week I will be going to Melbourne (Tuesday) and not sure when I will be back. My sister rang a while ago and had seen a gynaecologist (sp?). She's been having a bad time with "woman problems". Unfortunately the news wasn't great, she has to go into hospital next Wednesday for more tests to discount or diagnose cancer. Her husband and son left last Saturday for Italy and her other son works long hours, so I am going over for some moral support as I feel she shouldn't be on her own. She's asked her husband not to come back to Australia until she finds out the diagnosis (her choice not his).
As you can imagine I am very worried for her, we are quite close and I am hoping the news will be good.
I just don't know what we say to Mum who is 84, Sherida wants to wait until a final diagnosis is carried out and not worry her if all is okay. I can understand this and I think will have to respect my sister's decision.
I am trying to muster all the positive thoughts I can at the moment, but having been through this with Dad (liver cancer) a few years ago, I am just so upset for Sherida and do hope all is okay.

(((Susan and Sherida)))

Both my mother and one of my sisters have had hysterectomies because of possible cancers.

I hope Sherida's results are fine - will be praying.

Kylie

I am so sorry, and I am sending lots of healing thoughts, vibes and prayers for you sister.

What may help you is 2 Bach remedies, Star of Bethlehem for the trauma you are going through, and Walnut for the life change which again you are going through.

You can also take Rock Rose, this may help with the fear of what is happening.

You have friends on this board, that will be with you all the way, so try and remember when you are feeling low, that we are all sending our love to help you through.

{{{BIG HUGS}}}}

[> Thanks all -- Susan, 06:21:46 08/09/03 Sat (Exh-Cache-3.vic.bigpond.net.au/61.9.128.173)

Kylie, I'm sorry to hear about your Mum and sister and I am hoping that Sherida's problem is what is termed as "pre-cancerous".
Dudo, yes treatments are improving thank goodness.
Margaret, thanks for the Bache remedies, I've actually "hit the Rescue Remedy" this week. Probably a good thing I'm not much of a drinker!!
Rob (my husband) is a very calming and positive person and has been helping myself and Sherida (through phone calls) this week. Also Leigh has helped a little on the medical side of things.
The doctor says the problem with females going through Menopause, is that more serious diseases are masked by the Menopausal symptoms as some can be very similar in nature.

I am trying to stay positive, if only to help Sherida, who at the moment is far from positive. Thank you for your prayers, which I do appreciate.

Ellie, I did get you email - thanks and I have replied to you.

Cheers
