Subject: Cat Reaction..

I mentioned a few messages down about my flat being broken into one night..but didnt mention the reaction of the cats.They both bolted outside at the disturbance. Feller wandered back in 3 hours later(4am) looking quite unperturbed. Grania came back in a lot sooner, but she was like a bottlebrush, huge eyes, and fur stickking up all over.She walked every place the guy had trodden, sniffing out his scent. Thenext day she was 'on alert' all day, every noise outside made her fur rise and her eyes were huge and watching the door all the time.. honestly if she had been a cat the size of a rottweiler I reckon she would
have ripped him to shreds.

Scary stuff... glad you're ok. My cat Rufus used to growl very low and long if he heard anyone around- the dog used to sleep through, but rufus would be up and growling! That was scary enough- wondering what was out there!!

Oh gosh Ellie, that would have been scary enough with an intruder but having the cats disappear and then sniff around afterwards, very unnerving for you. I do hope you are alright and am so glad Big Feller and Grania are home safe and sound now.
