Subject: I have had an email from Tina's daughter

Hi, this is Cynthia, just dropping you all a note to let you know moms update. She hopes to get home tuesday from the hospital. She was operated on Oct 9 and had all large tumors removed but we had a family meeting with the doctor today and the 18 surrounding samples that were taken all came back cancerous. we will be going to Halifax on Friday to met with the chemo doctors to start treatments.

This has been sooo hard, This wonderful strong loving women to have this happen so suddenly. Ovarian Cancer has changed all our lives in a matter of days.
We will stay positive throughout all that comes our way and ask for your prayers.

mom does have a phone at the hospital if you want 543 9167 (Ernestine Swinimer) they dont have her as Tina.

Thank you Margaret for posting this update. I've come back a few times, I guess I am speechless. I have and will keep Tina in my thoughts and prayers.
This disease is just despicable!!!!!
