Subject: News about Tina
I happened to be online the same time as Tina last night and we had a great chat. She has given me permission to give you an update (I will try to remember everything).
She said she has just finished her first Chemo treatment and luckily she has not felt nauseous, but is suffering from cramps. Her daughter in law sat with her, which is wonderful and also very comforting. A little sideline Tina told me was that before giving the Chemo, they pumped Benadryl and something else into her, and it made her high as a kite. Tina thought this was quite funny, as they were trying to talk to her and not getting a lot of sense (lol). I think the treatment continues for about 6 months (hope that bit is right?)
Also, tomorrow (probably today now) her two daughters are taking her shopping for a wig and they are also calling into a place that does pottery and each are going to make teapots. She is really looking forward to this.
Her family have hired a cleaner and her husband and Tina herself are helping each other out.
Tina, if you do read this - what came across to me was the loving family you have and obviously you are very aware of this. It must be so comforting.
Hope I've remembered everything.

Thank you for the update on Tina. She is very much in my thoughts and prayers. I will be lighting a candle for her in church again this Sunday. She is surely blessed with a wonderful family and friends
I would like to have her mailing address if possible and Margaret has my e-mail address on Yahoo. I would like to send her a card in the mail.

Okay will tell her for you all. I will try and get her snail mail address as well. I told her about our photos being put up and she said she will see if her daughter can send me one of herself and I can put up on here. I also told her all the "Chat Shop" girls were thinking of her as well and sending their wishes. Actually, I will email her and ask for her address, I just don't want to intrude too much.
