Rufus looks like a lovely boy. How old is he Phyllis?
We have two Border Collies - Jake is 10 and Mitch is 9. Jake is riddled with arthritis but Sasha's Blend is holding it bay at the moment. Mitch is still like a young pup.

Hi Susan,

Rufus is 11 l/2 years old. He is on Cosequin (containes Glucosamine Chondroltin) to keep his joints in good shape. He is still active. As long as our weather is good he goes for an early morning walk and early evening one on a regular basis and sometimes one in between. He is very happy to have me at home now that I have retired. He is a great family dog and everyone in the neighborhood knows him very well.

Thanks for all the information about where you live and your family. It sounds like it is absolutely beautiful country.
