Oh lucky you..oh the glories of having a new baby around..
what a heavenly feeling to hold a baby - hug a baby and the extra plus of knowing it is your grandchild!
I love the names of your granddaughters..I hope they live handy so you know the heavenly life of playing with your grandchildren like I have known..my youngest is 7 now and there are no signs of any new ones coming along..but I thank God for all the enjoyable times beyond which one can explain to anyone the complete happiness.

Hi Tina,

Thank you for your message. My granddaughters live very far away from me. I have to travel by airplane for about 3 l/2- 4 hours if it is a direct flight in order to visit them. The nearest airport is about 45 minutes from where I live.

However, because I have a computer I get lots of pictures so I can see how they have grown. I will be flying to Florida in January to celebrate my oldest granddaughter's second birthday and will get to see my new granddaughter then for the first time. I can hardly wait. We will definitely have snow here in New England but Florida is warm even in January. The temperature doing the day time ranges anyway from 65 to 80 degrees. In New England in January the daytime weather is usually around 20 or 30 degrees.

I went shopping today to pick up some special baby gifts and I will be mailing them on Monday.

You are right that grandchildren are so very special and brighten our lives. I am so happy to have become a grandmother. It is such a wonderful feeling when you hold that grandchild.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving next Thursday here in the USA. I will be having some of my family who live in this area. I will be doing most of the cooking but now have more time since I no longer work.
