Worst job is at present:retired but looking after a man"husband"who the doctors say isn't half as sick as he thinks he is.A new symptom every other day and playing "pill bottles"that means bringing them all out when friends or family come.Loves the attention but friends have stopped coming.Family usually drift out of whatever room he is in..which is mostly the living room..and he keeps the t.v.blasting from 8:30 am to 10 p.m.even if anyone else is here. When my friends come we have to sit in the kitchen or dining room to get away from the t.v. His friends and couples stopped coming about a year ago..Some of my wemon friends drop in to see me.We still have friends drop in at Christmas but that is only one week of the year.My pets, children and Grandchildren are my salvation and my swim and exercise classes and church group meetings and of course all of you!I might add my love of the outdoors and walking and painting or just sitting by the ocean watching the waves and feeding and watching birds..so I guess its not really so bad but it could be so nice if he would just live and stop constant grumbling. His only exercise is getting in the car for me to take him to a doctor or his weekly blood tests. He used to be a heavy drinker and can't even drink a glass of beer now so I think this is why he is so grumpy. If your hubbys drink.heavy ..warn them it ruins the liver and that causes numerous other body problems.Well thats my grumble for the year!lol
I loved my job as t.v.program director and I loved the animal shelter and enjoyed every minute of my children growing up-so what am I complaining about?I was a truly fortunate gal! Hugs all...Tina

Cleaning toilets at the local primary school wasn't pleasent, I did this when still at high school to earn some cash. I then got a job at coles as a check out chick, it was a big step up. LOL The most stressful job as an adult was working at the race track for an on-course bookmaker, dealing with lots of money and working out odds in your head. They once thought my bag was $10,000 out, I nearly died as I had to come up with any shortfall, thank goodness it was the bosses mistake he had miscounted. I quit not much longer after that the stress was just too much. Hugs BJ

Well, almost. I cleaned house to earn bucks when I was studying, which meant cleaning bathrooms too (but a private one, thank goodness). I actually ENJOYED the job! Everyone was out of the house (it belonged to a yuppie couple) and I had plenty of quiet time. One depressing memory, though -- the husband once left some $$ and on the kitchen table, and guess what? It was 10,000+ times the money I had in my bank account! And HIS was LOOSE CHANGE!!!! *sniff, sniff*
