GREAT NEWS!

Now is the ideal ime to get him used to doing all the things that he will be expected to do for the rest of his life.
Get a pair of clippers and trim him up, put rugs on and take them off, get him used to scary stuff like plastic bags, balloons, backfiring cars...etc

Perhaps since you are new to foals you could enlist the help of an experienced mentor to help. Colts especially are known for testing their limits and what seems funny now will not be quite so amusing 4, 5 or 10 years down the road.

Glad to hear that the little guy is doing well.
