Subject: Hey Guys Internet Problems& My BELOVED CORY VETTE

had to go to the Vet first thing this morning!!I had to put make-up on at 7:30 a.m. Ha Ha anyway he has ascratched eye and it is swollen shut!!I was out shopoping last evening till 9 p.m( told yall i was over Hermit stage) and mike was asleep when i got home and i noticed Cory had his eye closed!!!I opened it and screamed"Michael wake up i can't find Cory Vette's Eyeball!!!" He woke up really fast and grabbed him and said Oh My God, it is swollen shut!!We were Mortified!!Anyway it is a scratch the vet said, but we have 2 eye medicines to put in 4 times a day and 2 times aday!!I might have done it w/brush while brushing him, or might have done it w/fingernail getting sleep out of his eyes, I do that 3 times a day! or one of the other babies might have done it playing!!Anyway it isn't an infection, and w/big bug eyes they are prone to eye infections so I was really scared!!He is my heart you know and my first one!!I had to call MSN tonight cause I couldn't get on Internet for the last 3 days!!I would get cut off, I answered an E-mail from Jac and couldn't even send it till today!1They had to give me a new password. I have it free till May 5, 2002, but if i don't keep it my e-mail will go back to: DONNADEE3@MSN.COM. sO IF YALL DON'T HEAR FROM ME AT MSN you will know I cancelled it and am back at EXCITE!!!Hugs, Donna

Sorry to hear about Cory Vette's eye. Hope the medicines work really well and it's all cleared up soon.

It's good to hear you're out and about again doing stuff. *s* BTW, is 'shopoping' a lengthening for plain old shopping or a shortening for shop hopping *g*?

I noticed your message on Dog Chat and you are a tender heart is all.
Nothing wrong with loving your babies. Our cat Jessie, passed away January last year, she was 14 and it took me a long time to get over it and I still think of the happy times a lot.
I do not watch documentaries about animals in case one dies, I know I probably miss a lot of good programs, but it affects me too much.
Someone once asked me why I would put myself through having more pets when they could see how upset I was about Jessie. My answer was, I will enjoy my pets for as long as I have them and would be much worse off for not having shared so much with them.

Totally agree with you Susan. Can't let the sad loss of a pet, deny another animal of love! I will be in a state of utter mortification when Cordelia passes (hopefully not for quite some time yet!). But it wouldn't stop me giving love to another!

I love doco's though. I just don't get why they have to show a baby being born, them slowly film the poor creatures demise and eventual death! I always sit there yelling at the telly to put the bloody camera down, and rescue the poor thing! (not talking about it getting eaten by Lions etc, I mean watching them starve to death etc). Always makes me cry!
I'm one of those people though who have the whole morbid curiosity thing happening! Don't really want to see it, but just have to keep watching!
