 hello, i would just like to add my thoughts on pajo's new band, zwan. a lot of people seem angry at the fact that david pajo might be selling out by playing with rock celebrity billy corgan.
but i believe we should not freak out too quick...
first of all, corgan is not really that popular anymore. he still has quite a big devoted fanbase, which he is very grateful for, but i believe he has seen enough of popularity to the point where it can make him sick. i don't think he is ready to go back into that, now that he has finally come out of it. the smashing pumpkins are not a mtv or radio favorite anymore, and it's been that way for a long time now.
so anyway, i am pretty sure that billy corgan has realized that his popularity has now sunk and that it makes him free to go back to the indie scene and play freely, without having to be concerned about the reaction. that is probably why he is surrounding himself now with some new people with whom he can share some creativity, such as mr. pajo and mr. sweeney.

frankly, they are just having fun i guess. you may like it or you may not. personally i have heard just a bit and it doesn't seem too great. some songs have a nice sensibility though. let's just see where this project goes... mr. corgan has his own label, constantinople records, and i'm sure any release would be either on that or another indie, not a manipulating major deal.
