Subject: In 2022 they were allowed to wear anything black. Some wore cocktail and some wore pantsuits. Much cheaper than adding on a 300.00 expense for the contestants.

2022 was a one off because a few girls were not able to get their size, specifically larger size and they complained. The sponsor ended up being stuck with them, I think. Opening number outfits are a fundraiser for the organization. Miss NC isn’t making any money so they’ve got to bring in money somehow. (NT)No name09:39:09 03/25/26 Wed
