Subject: Western Piedmont very rarely missed the Top 10. Same with Garner. Fayetteville was also a powerhouse.

Most Jaycee chapters sent a representative. I know there were 100 contestants. I can't remember which Miss NC, maybe Patsy Wood was contestant number 1 out of 100 and won. If you watch some of the old Miss NC Pageants on youtube, you'll see most were sponsored by their towns Jaycees or Jaycee Women (NT)No name07:10:57 10/09/25 Thu
