Subject: Please don’t use something that worked out for Cassie to bash other competitors who choose to spend more money on wardrobe. Cassie won in-spite of her gown. If nobody buys expensive gowns, then sponsors won’t have the profits to give the state titleholders very expensive dresses for nationals. I feel sure Cassie would have spent more if she’d had the budget. Anyway, she’s wearing much nicer gowns now that she won!!

In reply to: 's message, "Miss New York’s gown now our Miss America wore a Jessica Angel gown that retails for $445.00!!! Let that sink in for all the thousands and thousands that’s spent on wardrobe. Many spend way more than they earn in scholarships!" on 11:29:05 09/08/25 Mon

It just seems like lately girls are wising up and not spending a fortune on gowns and still winning. Last two years at Miss NC. Carrie won in a bridal dress from David's Bridal, about 200.00. Sophia's grandmother made her winning gown. At Miss America, Cassie's dress was about 450.00 and a few years before Nia's was in the same price range.it just goes to show , it's the girl, not the dress. (NT)No name20:01:28 09/17/25 Wed
