 Carrie freely spoke throughout her year as to God's purpose in her life. He led her to come to NC to enroll in NCCU and to continue to pursue her dream to be on the Miss America stage. She accomplished all that and even brought a talent prelim winner to our state. Maybe God's purpose was to show to many people; contestants, parents, local directors and even board members that humility, love for all and God's plan is always on time. I also pray for wisdom for her health team and her family as they face this battle.
