i need you to pick a side. She didn’t want girls who “only wanted” to get to MNC - which is an MAO thing now, you can release after state and therefore lots of girls don’t finish their year or do much in their community - but also she just wanted “competitive” girls who were skeleton thin because you also think being midsize disqualifies you from being an MAO titleholder. I’ve had a handful of directors in this system. Was at my thinnest as Delores’ queen. And Delores is the only director who ever uttered a word (and there were many words uttered) that I needed to change my body. The others were happy with me if I was happy with me. So if Delores chooses to project her own insecurities, or that you need to be Depression era thin, that seems like a problem with herself, not something to give young women a complex about.
