Subject: The Word of the Lord - The Fowlers Snare

So true, papasangel -

But these wrongs can cost those without discernment their souls. Every matter must be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses. (Deuteronomy 19:15) - Squeaky has squeaked much falsehood, and his own words condemn him. Is it wise to watch those who lack judgement while they dance unknowingly into the fowlers snare? Or should we not set them free like birds?

Ezekiel 13

1
The word of the LORD came to me:

"Son of man, propesy against the propehts of Israel who are now prophesying." Say to those who prohecy out of their own imagination: Hear the word of the LORD!

(Not man's words, God's words! Not some man concocted foolishness!)

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the wicked prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!

Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackels among ruins.

You have not gone up to the breaks in the wall to repair it for the house of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the LORD.

(The true children of the Lord should aim to perfect themselves in holiness and by the blood of the Lamb, that by putting on the gospel armor, we may stand on the day of battle. Let he who has an ear, hear the words of the Lord!)

Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. They say, "The LORD declares, " when the LORD has not sent them; yet they expect their words to be fulfilled.

Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, "The LORD declares, " thought I have not spoken?

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I AM AGAINST YOU, declares the Sovereign Lord.

(emphasis mine. God hates those who lead his people astray, and let the cracks in the armor accumulate. False teachers who lead the sheep away from the path of truth. )

My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

(This foreshadows the age to come, when the false prophets will be denied access to the heavenly Jerusalem, for they will be in the lake of fire.)

"Because they lead my people astray saying, "Peace," when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,

(Jesus said not be alarmed with wars....for it is when they should speak "Peace," the time grows near. These lying prophets make things out of their own imaginations, doctrines of demons, and with their flimsy wall of man-concocted "truth," they cover it with whitewash, as to cover the shamefulness of it. But the Lord shall test all the earth, and the inhabitants thereof...some will be refined, others will burn like stubble. I assure you, for the Lord has spoken it, that those who have taught falsehood without repentance will feel the wrath of the living God!)

therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth.

( "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mind and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. [25] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock. (This rock is the Messiah, the living word!) [26]But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like the foolish man who built his house on sand. [27] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." -Matthew 7:24-27.

The Lord in his time will be a tester of metals, he shall test each man's work. Those who have built them on falsehood will crumble. Those who have established themselves upon the rock will stand in the day of trouble. The Lord has spoken it, it will come to pass. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. -Ephesians 6:13

(Part of this armor is the BELT OF TRUTH. Guess what? For a man, it protects the place where a blow probably hurts the most. God's word certainly has a way of explaining things...)

When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, "Where is the whitewash you covered it with?"

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. [8] You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. -Psalm 91:7-8

(There is a condition, Psalm 91:1-2 - to make the Lord your fortress. False doctrines and traditions of men are not fortresses of God. Fortresses of God are built on wisdom, as it is written;

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; [4] through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. [5] A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength; [6] for waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisors. - Proverbs 24:3-6 )

Ezekiel 13:14

I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare.

(And shone for what it is - a foundation of sand, of falsehood.)

So I will spend my wrath against the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you, "The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it,

those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace forher and there was no peace, declares the Sovereign LORD. " '

"Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of your own imagination. Prophesy against them

and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?

(Certainly not! Their deeds will reap what they deserve.)

You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and spared those who should not live.

(Sound familar? Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" -Revelation 6:6 ) - Read Amos 8, for the Black Horse is revealed in that chapter. It is the famine of word hunger...for hearing the words of the Lord. This famine is in effect today. They deceive the people of God and feed only themselves. One verse a week and then pass the collection plate. The Lord hates those who defile his words.

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. [19] And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." -Revelation 22:18-19

"Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. [6] Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." -Proverbs 30:5-6

(The TRUE word of God is flawless - not some dung heap teaching of man.)

'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people you ensnare like birds.

I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Becasue you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked no to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives,

therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the LORD.' "

(These false teachers and "prophets" sent from God, who claim to have revelations, but are truly lies sent from their own spirit and from Satan, are an enemy of God. They will receive their penalty in full. They disheartened the righteous because of their evil, and they have deceived those lacking sense in the word, by starving them spiritually, and feeding themselves off the flock. )

"He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. [8] But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of sulfur. This is the second death." -Revelation 21:7-8

The cowardly will not enter this city - those who do not take a stand against wickedness are like those who do not serve the Lord at all. To fear the Lord is to hate evil, and all works of the flesh. Through fear of the Lord is a soul is preserved from the snares of death by walking in the Spirit, continually cleansed by the grace of Jesus Christ.

"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. [15] Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. "

-Revelation 22:14-15


Those who practice and love falsehood will not enter the kingdom of God! Let he who has an ear, let him hear the words of the living God!
