Some more Aug '03 events that I didn't know about in time to send out with the rest of them.

Tu 8/5, 6-8pm, NATIONWIDE: Petsmarts everywhere are having a birthday party (fun, games, prizes) for pets whose birthdays are unknown. Pets with known birthdays can attend, too.

Sat 8/9, 10am- 2pm, ELLICOTT CITY, MD: HoCo Dog http://hocodog.org/ is having their First Annual Summer Celebration for the Worthington Park Dog Off-Leash Area.

Fri 8/15, 5- 8pm, GLEN BURNIE, MD: Yappy Hour hosted by Hunter's Mom Pet Services at the Chesapeake at the Berkshires community center, 6533 Cedar Furnace Circle. Games, prizes, info, freebies and refreshments.

Sat 8/16, 6-830pm, STERLING, VA: The Humane Society of Loudoun Co is having Homeless Animals Day featuring a pet parade, rescue groups, blessing of the animals and more. http://www.humanesocietyofloudouncounty.org/other_pages/upcoming_detail_july_dec_2003.htm#aug

Mon 8/18, 630- 830pm, WASHINGTON, DC: Adams-Morgan Dogs http://www.amdogs.org/pages/8/index.htm is having a Doggy Hour (yes, dogs can come)at Chief Ike's Mambo Room at 1725 Columbia Rd, NW. Two drink tickets are included in the $15 cover charge. The website advises that no humping is allowed which may be difficult for some of you to control after those two drinks.

Sun 8/24, 9am- 6pm, ADELPHI, MD: Canine Training Association http://www.caninetrainingassociation.org/ is holding a picnic and fun day plus obedience and agility run-throughs at Adelphi Manor Recreation Center. Open to all.
