Pencil me in Dave, I'll be there for 9.30pm - I expect Rose will also join us.

I totally agree with your comments regarding the Leeds and Cardiff game. I'm afraid it is another classic example of the media bias towards large clubs.

Furthermore, I couldn't believe my ears when Alan Green (whose opinions regarding referees, I usually agree with) argued against pitch invasions, saying that they were unnecessary and a danger to the players on the pitch.

I think these types of comments show just how detached the media are from the passion which is shown on the terraces. I sometimes think Radio and TV treat the sport as just a form of entertainment, well its not, it means more than that to real supporters.

Oh and finally I believe that the Leeds fans are nothing but bad losers. How can they criticise others when their own team is full of racist thugs (allegedly)!

I agree with your comments Mark. If pitch invasions happened as a matter of course, week in week out, then they would have to be curtailed. But once in a blue moon, such as when Man United dumped Villa out of the Cup or when Cardiff dumped Leeds out of the Cup, then surely where is the real harm in that? The fans are over the moon for goodness sake, for a once in a blue moon result/performance! Look at Alex Ferguson, even he came on to the pitch when Man United got the winner against Villa, but simply because of jubilation. Now everyone knows who he is, but will he be prosecuted for this 'criminal offence'? Of course not, it would be completely ridiculous.

The people who should be prosecuted are the hard core thugs who stay on the terraces and lob bottles, coins, etc at visiting supporters, players, and officials (again Cardiff springs to mind.) That is what we want to get rid of in football, not scenes of jubilation.

Good comments Dave - so does that mean that next time TUFC win we go on the pitch?

After that sort of thing only happens once in a blue moon!!!!!

We'll start Saturday then...
