Noch was: um auf die Strokes zurückzukommen:
Bin ich eigentlich der einzige Mensch auf Erden, der "Room On Fire" für wesentlich gelungener hält als "Is This It"?
Auf dem ersten Album klingen manche Songs nämlich extrem ähnlich - "Room On Fire" kommt meiner Meinung nach viel pfiffiger, energiegeladener und frecher daher und ist auch weniger anstrengend zu hören (obwohl das jetzt nicht heißen soll, dass schwer zugänglichere Musik scheiße ist- ganz im Gegenteil). Auch die Gitarrenarbeit von Nick Valensie ist viel besser und ausgefeilschter, ich würde sogar sagen, richtig aufregend und mitreißend.
Und dann noch Songs wie "Reptilia"....manchmal verstehe ich die Welt nicht so ganz.
Naja, wie heißt es noch so schön: "I thought, I told you this world is not for you..."
