It's hard to say what would be fair advice without knowing a few more details. There's many reasons which can contribute towards difficult in losing body fat and weight even when you're ana. Far too many of the ana/mia circles focus on physical weight when we need to be considering our BMI.

Maybe that's more from the anaboy aesthetic -- where some of us have to lose the poundage but also keep body definition. But with the male segment we're usually concentrating on body-fat percentages and bone density -- the latter adds to weight calculations.

What that means is outside of the occasional fast during workout peak hours -- we're actually eating before exercise -- maintaining minimum calorie requirements - well, little more modest than "american" standards for the minimum count.

If you're just fasting or eating bear minimum then look around for a support community to keep you on track.

If you have a "regular" and active workout plan, then you might want to consider upper yourself to 300 to 750 calories -- eating something like ramen or red and black beans before a workout.

If you are particularly active you might want to have something you can munch on all day.

It helps cut down on binging and the fact that you're constantly eating something -- might actually keep a few people off your back. Especially as you've been down that road before.

If you're not working out regularly then you might consider investing in a few girdles, corsets and other bodyshapers -- if you look around you'll find a few (usually medical supply or specialty shops) that aren't purely for aesthetics and actually provide binding support - or you can go ghetto and do it yourself with bandages or nylons, but it's better to get something with more solid support.

It promotes an aesthetic but it also helps in shaping your body (though you may want to check out some of the binder and corset guilds on medical safety), it sometimes has an affect on some people from eating too much and it can help to provide a little more physical resistance to basic exercise and/or movement.

Then there's regardless, taking supplements and vitamins while you're fasting or eating minimal and you might consider protein or meal replacement powders. If you're paranoid, Either buy two one with a more "maintain stream" acceptable count and refill it with the other version or eliminate the evidence and quickly move it to another container.

Some of the powders can leave people feeling bloated and gassy, but as you get used to it it tends to lessen.

There's also Goji berries, a bit expensive but if you're going to minimalist route it's a fuck better than celery. And mixing your tea with a bit of organic pomegranate juice adds a little extra supplemental care.

Yeah, I know there's extra calories to figure into both of those. But for being pro ana we have to maintain a healthy aspect of it as well. There's many people that can't cut it and get too focused on their goals. You can see the self loathing failures through countless blogs.. leading into depths of dispair and mental health or depression issues.

Depression can make it more difficult to lose body fat.

So we also come into areas about self reflection, introspective analysis, are we still having fun?

Being stressed or frustrated with your weight or not making your goals fast enough can only lead to more problems and other habits which we sometimes utilize but often puts the social divide between the anas and the mias.

Which it's easier to look at the bingers and purgers as gutter trash looking to get a quick fix.

And then there's the six foot 80 pounder anas which went too far often utilizing less restraint in their methods to get there.

There's a few less reputable methods - from drugs and medications to even smoking -- which the alternative stash (not pot or drugs) or even standard tobacco can cut down on the urge to eat -- though clove cigarettes seem the most effective towards that means. But it contains a lot of the same nasty additives as regular cigs.

While we're on that topic 0 if you tend to party, go out and have a few drinks. It seems to escape the party circuit that they should be watching what they drink - if you don't know then try to stay with clear alcohol only and modest amounts -- regardless it all can cause a bit of bloating and alcohol, sugars, are harder to work off.

And also getting portable exercise equipment is a fair idea, a little foot stepper for under the desk -- even getting into wii (which has a number of physical activity games) or other platform systems which incorporate physical movement -- even investing in some of the older systems with ddr.

Keep exercise fun. Cruise some of the pro-exercise sites, don't expect to see too many open ana/mias but there's several closeted groups -- especially on the steroid sites, including some women with better tips on diets that might appeal to you (and still within ana-ethics), developing a fitness program and supplemental or medicinal/chemical alternatives during a "cutting" cycling --- and the ana community could really utilize the cutting cycles pro-lifters use when they're looking to shed bulk or weight, even if it moves into some more questionable areas -- but for the adult ana groups, we gotta throw hormonal balances into the mix... and become a little more dedicated biochemists, from nutrition to fitness.

If you're heading into an extended fasting period or minimal calorie diet - don't jump start it, gradually move into it and gradually move out. Fasting and bare minimum should always been looked at as a cycle plan (4 to 12 weeks at max, or for long termers, one week a month, and switching to a calorie restricted diet which should shift with your workout schedule and fitness plans...)

Blah, blah, blah.
