Out of the current BW schools, for men's hoops, no question that Long Beach has the most storied past. The Jerry Tarkanian and Lute Olson teams of the 1970s were outstanding and if not for a certain road-block called UCLA they probably would have gone far in the NCAAs. I'm sure Long Beach alums wish that the current tourney format was in place back then, if it were, it is not unlikely that Long Beach would have a couple Final 4s under its belt.

That begs this question, what successes have the current BW teams had in the tournament?
I think Fullerton made it to the Elite 8 in 1979(?).
UCSB made it to the second round in the 1990 tourney, and, of course, USU got the upset over Ohio State last year before being spanked by UCLA. Have any other schools had any level of success in the tourney?
