This video has pictures from 21 years on football. Even though the year changes in the bottom left corner, I am pretty sure the pictures do not alway match the year.
Here are the times in the video showing the best shoots (IMO) of different helmets, but there are a number of great photos.

0:17 - light facemask No stripes
0:21 - Same helmets but mosts with single stripe
0:48 - double helmet stripe
1:01 - Black helmets - white stripe
I am not sure where this photo fits into the time line as the team wore block helmets in 1970 according to this team photo

4:42 APU's helmet is probably red not Orange, lighting is probably poor.

Thanks to No Name for this reference; there is indeed lots of great information here. Likely many hours of work for me 😀

I am also skeptical of the dates listed, but there are enough photographs establishing the use of a design at some point that I should be able to add a bunch of these to the website, though with approximate dates.

I though my eyes were deceiving me, or that the photographs' colors were faded or misleading, but eventually found a reference that Azusa did indeed use orange and black as the school colors prior to 1998 or 1999.

And yes, lots of interesting previously-unknown opposing team photographs!
