The SMU helmet logo is not the "D" logo. The example picture clearly shows that the nose/mouth of the mustang has the red & white stripes, with only the remainder of the head and the neck in the blue w/ white stars.

Whoa, you're right... the flag in the new version is "wavier", so to speak. I just assumed the flag pattern was the same as the previous one, my bad.
