I don't think I've ever seen such a thing before, but here's one in the 1970 Memphis State yearbook:

Upper-left photo, player in all-white uniform #100 at far left. I believe Louisville (with plain red helmets) is the team.

Given it's from what appears to be 1969, that was the 100th anniversary of college football. So they had someone wear #100 to honor it.
