I do remember some of details surrounding Valley Forge. The college athletic program was a victim of a power struggle between the administration and the board of directors. Nearly all of the college student/athletes left because of the conflict, and the high school students decided to enroll elsewhere after they graduated (or at least their parents decided for them).

Valley Forge was also once a member of the Seaboard Conference, along with Thaddeus Stevens, Apprentice, Williamson Trades, and New Jersey Warriors.
