Brigham Young: all thirteen games were normal

The biggest conference reshuffling next year comes from the Sun Belt. The Idaho Vandals have relegated themselves down to the Big Sky Conference of the Football Conference Subdivision (the former Division I-AA), while the Liberty Flames will promote into an FBS team; they will be an independent next year and ineligible for bowls as part of the transition. Also becoming newly independent is New Mexico State, fresh off their bowl win, as their status as associate members of the Sun Belt will expire.

A new chain of letters will start again on these teams come August 30, with alternate designs continuing to bombard us with no end in sight.
