I think so (plus the new XFL). My criteria as far as new leagues are concerned is that if they acquire coverage by at least one major tv network, I will include them at the website. I think both AAF and new XFL (if it actually gets off the ground) will meet this criteria.

The last time I checked (a few weeks ago) I had not seen any announced helmet designs for the AAF, and only three teams had been specified (Orlando, Atlanta, and I don't remember the other).

So, looking at the league's website I see that the eight teams have all now been designated (San Diego, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis, and Orlando).

It is unclear to me if the teams are going to have nicknames or differing helmet designs...thus far I only see the league's logo associated with each team. So we might see eight helmet "designs" with the league logo in different colors, which would be pretty dull...but who knows?

The Alliance teams will have individual team names and identities. I haven't heard a timeline on revealing those at this point.

I saw on some message board (for what that's worth) that team names would be announced in September.

Logos but no helmet designs yet (at least I haven't seen any). I think the logos are mediocre, and I think I like Orlando's best and Memphis's least. I dislike singular team nicknames but now we've got two new ones (Iron and Express).

Though in defense of the logos, I would point out how dull many of the NFL teams' logos are, and how it would be almost unimaginable to ever change them (e.g., Packers, Bears, Cowboys, Colts, etc.)...they have achieved classic status via longevity (and I wouldn't want to see them changed, either.)

Above are the logos for the remaining four teams.

Of note is that the real uniforms worn by the US Forest Service, called the Hotshots, are yellow shirts & forest green pants, so there's that inspiration. And of course, San Diego's nickname is known for the U.S. Naval base.
