That 92 helmet, along with the 93 chevron, was early favorites of mine. I've always wondered why they've never used the familiar UAB header, that you basically see on everything at the university, for the helmet, even as an alternate design for one game.

I've always thought the green helmets were more representative of the school. After Coach Brown modernized the look, based upon the Raiders, there seems to have never been much thought in that direction. The iconic institutional logo on the helmet would be interesting...certainly would leave no doubt to what team someone was watching!
