I found this website today and it has many photos of various helmet designs from the past, including a few you haven't gotten to yet. Thought I'd swing this by

Thanks for finding my site!

The purpose of the site was to create a historical record through pictures of every helmet worn by NFL, FBS (all 130 schools), select FCS schools (Ivy League, North Dakota State, Idaho) and CFL. And I want it to be the most accurate site reflecting what helmet was worn

I just started this summer and so far I've completed the entire CFL, 18 NFL teams and 56 FCS schools.

My schedule is to complete the NFL within the next 30 days, and continue doing FBS schools as fast as I can. I still have 74 to go so I expect it will take me 90-120 days. Right now I have one school left to finish the Big 12 and then I'll do the Big 10, ACC, Independents and SEC. And then AAC, MWC, Sun Belt. Finally, I will do the FCS schools.

Then I'll go back and try find better pictures and potentially expand into a few other leagues.

If you have any suggestions, photos, etc. please send my way! Thanks.

I'm so happy to have found your site! Recently I've embarked on a project to try to render as many of these helmets as possible onto 2-D helmets, using Inkscape. I have a bunch of pictures from Boston College and Clemson already, taken from their yearbooks. Please feel free to contact me at rattyrattery@gmail.com - I would use the contact form on your site but it only allows me to upload one photo and I don't have time at the moment to conveniently upload everything to Google.

Really looking forward to seeing what you post in the future :)

That's great, I'm glad somebody is doing a photographic website (and surprised someone hasn't done it previously). There was another one ten or fifteen years ago but it eventually became password-protected, for some reason, and then disappeared, i think.

It's a good time to embark on such a project because there is vastly more information available on the internet now than when I started 20 years ago.

Just an update on the site.

I've finished 118 FBS teams. Just Old Dominion and Rice in Conference USA and then 10 of 12 teams in the MAC.

Also 22 NFL teams done and all of CFL.
