Speaking of Occidental, I had been looking at this just recently:

Jack Kemp played football at Occidental from 1953 to 1956 and I'm quite certain that's not a 1950s football helmet.

Nope. Not even close.

Somebody out there is selling a copy of Occidental's 1957 yearbook.

The colors look off to me and you'll note that Kemp isn't wearing a facemask in the picture. I know all of this took place in a year not covered by this site, but still ...
