Subject: Whose the Opponent here?

The photo seems to be from the mid 90s. Obviously the away team is Duquesne, but whose the opponent?

My Guess is possibly Siena

I would think Geneva, as you can make out the neva on the jersey. I also believe the jerseys are black, and the picture makes it a bit green. Duquesne played Geneva as a conference opponent in the 80s and up to 1990, when the Dukes used that helmet.

I think Siena is probably correct. Siena and Duquesne were conference opponents in the 1990s and I think Siena used plain gold helmets at one time (though I see that I have not added that one to the website, for some reason).

I think the partially-visible letters on the front of #50's uniform could be "EN", with the N partially folded over and hidden. But the best clue for me is the logo on the sleeve of the other dark-uniform player to the right of the quarterback - I can't tell what the logo is but there appears to be a "halo" around the upper portion of it, consistent with the "Saints" team nickname. (The logo may depict an architectural feature on the campus.)

So I did some sleuthing. I reverse image searched this picture, and found that the quarterback in question is Brian Staines, who played at Duquesne from 1992-1995. The only opponent from these years that fits is Siena. The colors and the "EN" match.
