Subject: Charlotte Stars

Been thinking about it for a bit, but it blows my mind that they slapped the Chicago Bears "C" over the NY Stars logo when the team moved cities.

That could NEVER happen today. Just thought I'd comment and open discussion on that, because there weren't any other teams that made such a decision, right?

😄 Yes, there are some great stories about the WFL. They were always struggling for money and many cost-cutting measures were taken along the way.

But it's such a weird and interesting league. It's been fun to see the USFL make a return but the WFL teams are the ones I'd really like to see in resurrected form.

There was a minor league rebirth of the WF that ended in 2010. Played World Bowls II through V.

Didn't revive the old names, but continued the World Bowl championship name.
