Crowley, LA-based John Melvin University was recently granted limited accreditation by TRACS. This means, if they meet all required conditions, they can apply for NAIA membership by 2024. This is their goal.

They started with Men's basketball last year and men' baseball and women's softball this past spring. Football kicks off on August 26 against Atlantis University.
