Thanks, I was thinking the first character was an 'M' rather than 'NC'. Also that animal head in the middle threw me off - I guess it's a 'bulldog'.

Anyway that must have been a very short-lived design as I don't recall seeing it previously.

Charles, here is some additional NC A&T info that may or may not be useful:

1989-1999 - same as 2000
1988 - Yellow/Gold - Blue stripe - Blue "AGGIES" o/l in white - Blue FM
1983-1987 - Yellow/Gold - Blue stripe - Blue "nc" bulldog head logo "at" - Blue FM
1981-1982 - Yellow/Gold - Blue-yellow/gold-blue stripes - Blue "Aggies" - Gray FM -
1977-1980 - Yellow/Gold - Blue-yellow/gold-blue stripes - Yellow/Gold "A&T" inside blue oval - Gray FM

1974-1976 - Gold - No stripe - no logo - Gray FM
1973 - Silver! - White - Blue and yellow/gold bulldog logo - Gray FM
1969-1972 - Gold - No stripe - Blue T" over blue "A" - Gray FM - This logo is placed up high on sides of helmet

1968 - Gold - Blue stripe - no logo - Gray FM
1965-1967 - Gold - Blue stripe - Blue or black round numbers - Gray FM
1963-1964 - Gold - No stripe - no logo - Gray or white FM
1962 - Blue - Gold stripe - no logo - Gray or white FM
