I am sorry to inform you that this is not the correct logo - please note the position of the knight's lance and the horse's stride during its gallop in the monochrome picture. If you can provide a logo matching the picture, that would be brilliant. Thank you and have a good day.

I don't doubt that that's an official logo used by the university in some capacity - it just doesn't appear to be the one worn on the football helmets in 1967 and 1968.

I think the 1967-68 logo is something like this one:

...but have not located any photographs clear enough to verify this.

I can definitively confirm that that is the logo that was used during the 1970-1971 seasons. However, the logo did not have a white border during the 1967-1968 seasons.
