It's a valid question. The CAFL was officially owned and operated by the Arena Football League. And it was pro football. So its absents is curious.

Football is played internationally in the past, and it is now. Just as relevant.

The league played in 2016 but then canceled both the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The 2019 season consisted of a tournament composed of 12 minute "games" followed by 24-minute championship and consolation "games", all played at a common site. Thereafter the league quietly folded, as best I can tell, probably at least in part due to the pandemic. It just seems too bush-league to merit coverage at the website, in my opinion. The page has not been deleted (yet) and you can see it at:

(note capital letters in filename).
I thought the helmet designs were not bad but otherwise I don't see much reason to retain this league at the website.

The league did not take off like they wanted it to and when the AFL folded that was pretty much the end of it.
But you already have done all the work, why not leave it in the defunct league section? Just my opinion. :)

Mr. Charles Arey, you've already done the work. At the very least keep the league under "Defunct Professional Leagues." And in the future, refrain from even suggesting deletion of a certain league or calling it "bush league." This was not a "bush league," and I take great umbrage to such a suggestion. Are you also suggesting, then, that the NFL be deleted as well because it is "bush league?" Be careful with such analogies.

I didn't ask for this website to be cluttered, FIB. I merely said that the CAFL should be listed under "Defunct Professional Leagues." By that, I mean major professional ones, not minor league organizations as you and Charles Arey were implying.
And while we're at it - yes, let's add the Continental Football League (1965-1969) and the All-American Football League (1977-1983)! It's been 23 years that two major professional leagues (not minor) have systemically been denied entry due to editorial bias, and it's high time they be entered!
Now, I've helped out at this website from time to time, but if you lot want to get cheeky, you're typing to the wrong person.

Mr. Arey, I have been more than polite regarding the matter of putting the pertaining page on "Defunct Professional Leagues." At the very least, do so with this league - after all, Arena Football 2, United Football League and NFL Europe are also listed, and you didn't have any problems with those "bush leagues." Maybe because they weren't based in China?
If you do proceed to delete this league from your website, it will be a costly mistake on your part, one which will lead to a slippery slope. Simply put, don't do it.
Now, Mr. Arey, you give me one good reason why China Arena Football League should not be on "Defunct Professional Leagues," because I can't think of any. And don't tell me it's "because the site will get too crowded" or "this was a semi-pro league" or even "doesn't merit coverage." None of these arguments hold water, so I'm afraid you'll have to find something else.
Please don't tell me a stray dog ate your homework.
