"Saint Leo University (FL): Saint Leo has held a series of focus groups to begin the process of exploring of bringing football back, per the Hernando Sun. St. Leo currently competes in the Sunshine State Conference, which does not compete in football, but is exploring the option of moving to the D-II Gulf South Conference."


I found reference that they dropped the sport back in 1980. The time period they played was when they were still in D3 that offered no scholarships.
