I'll watch for those as they appear. My initial impression was that the Jets and Bills designs would not merit a separate helmet image, but I will look more closely at photographs from that game when and if I get a chance to do so. Trying to document the reflective properties of helmet features seems like an awful can of worms to open.

[> Color Rush helmets for 2016 -- Nameless, 16:08:12 09/15/16 Thu (128.248.217.39)

The 2016 Color Rush uniforms have been unveiled by Nike earlier yesterday, and four teams are expected to have some helmet change on their Thursday night games:

The 10/13/16 matchup between Denver and San Diego will have two new helmets: Denver's is likely a navy shell, retro 1975-1996 logo and stripes (note the close placement of the decals), and blue mask: http://boards.sportslogos.net/uploads/monthly_2016_09/temp160912_colorrush_4--nfl_mezz_1280_1024.jpg.90b6cfbe2718bb7d70573848c7c55579.jpg

San Diego will have a white shell, plain yellow lightning bolt on both sides, and yellow mask: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CsPNs2FVYAA6hZc.jpg:large

On 12/22 against Philadelphia, the New York Giants will wear their 1980-1999 helmets (the ones with the underlined "GIANTS" on the side).

And finally tonight, the New York Jets will have a white facemask with the normal colored logos and stripes (not the shiny version from last year): http://boards.sportslogos.net/uploads/monthly_2016_09/57d7432d688ad_ScreenShot2016-09-12at8.05.51PM.thumb.png.f1fa79782e67e8861fd337c606aadebe.png
Their duel is against Buffalo again, and it will thankfully not be "colorblind rush" this time.

The remaining 28 teams should have their normal helmets.

Those were mockups only, but the dates included should serve as a heads-up to when the new helmets will appear.

Remember--Color Rush refers to jerseys, pants, and shoes the same color, not necessarily helmets. Also, this season all of the games that are a part of the Thursday Night Football package are also a part of Color Rush. So this means that the games that aren't on a Thursday but ARE a part of the TNF package will still get the Color Rush treatment. (This affects the Jets-Dolphins game on a Saturday, as well as a Steelers game for Christmas Day, for example. All affected games would be here: http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2016/TNF)
