Subject: Northern Arizona late 70s/1980s

So I know this won't be immediately useful (especially with football season starting up) but I thought I'd drop this for record keeping purposes.

I was doing some research on past Boise State opponents and noticed that NAU's helmet history was pretty sparse. So I dug a bit into their website archives and tried to find what I could on them so that we could maybe establish some basics.

Overall I was not as successful as I hoped I would be (color pictures and flat images of logos are rare even in the 80s) but I did save some pictures and dates that should be useful for reference for further research in the future.

From 1978 (likely earlier) until midway through 1979, they had plain helmets:

From midway through 1979 (hard to say when but they changed no later than 10-20-79) through the 1984 season, they used this curvy logo:

And this helmet with the big middle A was used from 1985 through 1986 and possibly beyond:
