My current "policy" on that matter is to populate the top of each conference page with the most frequently-used helmet design from the previous season (going with the last one used, in case of a tie), unless I have some reason to believe that that design will not be used again. For UCF, the designs labelled 'A', 'C', 'D', and 'E' were each used twice in 2016 (if I correctly documented their usage), with 'E' being the last one used of those four (during game #11). Hence, 'E' at the top of the page.

Perhaps some other system would make more sense, since many teams no longer have "a helmet design", but this seems as good as any to me. Ideally I would like to have either the "most recently used design" or "design to be used during the next game" - but the latter is not possible due to lack of information, and both are not possible due to the amount of time that would be required to keep the site updated in that manner.
