Subject: Grays Harbor CC - Olympic CC

Grays Harbor College dropped football following the 1976 season. I believe they began playing in the 30's, and fielded a very successful program through the 50's-60' and 70's. Grays Harbor played in the NWACC conference along with Olympic (Bremerton, Wa.), Everett (Wa.), Mount Hood(Gresham, Ore) and Clackamas(Ore) on West side and Spokane Fall, Columbia Basin (Tri-cities,Wa.), Yakima Valley(Wa.), Wenatchee Valley(Wa.), Walla Walla(Wa.) and Treasure Valley (Id.) on East Side. Grays Harbor had all bright Silver helmets. Olympic College dropped football in mid-eighties and were the last team palying on Westside of conference. They wore all red helmets.
